Meet Catherine Lee Clarke
As a Director and Investment Officer at Hirtle Callaghan, I have the opportunity to work with families and nonprofits in Texas and other southwestern states with complicated, challenging wealth management needs, helping them live out their missions and win at their goals.
I grew up in an entrepreneurial household, where my parents discussed their businesses and the stock market each night at the dinner table. Throughout my school years and into college, I managed my own portfolio, and became the de facto financial advisors to all of my on-campus friends. It was late in my college career that I realized that helping people solve problems with their money was something that I genuinely loved.
Today, the venue has changed, but every day I have the opportunity to solve big, complex financial problems for successful families and organizations. My analytical rigor and discipline to approach problems dispassionately coupled with my innate curiosity ensures that I leave no stone unturned when it comes to finding a solution for my clients.
Outside of work, I am avid birder and conservationist, committed to preserving gulf coast habitats with my husband and son. I currently serve on the Finance Committee for Houston Audubon, a bird-focused conservation organization, as well as the advisory board for The Fund for American Studies.
